Bryce Underwood accounts for 300 total yards
Bryce Underwood was unleashed by the Wolverines last week. Some Michigan football fans have argued that it was because Sherrone Moore wasn't on the sideline, even though he spent the entire week installing the game plan.
Chip Lindsey wouldn't start running the quarterback without Moore's permission. Sherrone isn't stupid. It seems he thought the Wolverines could play bully ball and run an offense like 2021.
Well, the offensive line isn't good enough. That's the difference. The defense might not be as good either. So, it's time to let Bryce be Bryce.
John Butler and Nebraska run a similar scheme. It's all about different looks and disguises. I'm sure that Underwood will get fooled and will throw at least one interception. However, he will also use his legs to rush for around 50 yards (and a TD).
There will also be some success in the passing game, especially to tight ends Marlin Klein and Hogan Hansen.
Nebraska does have the best pass defense, in terms of yards allowed in college football, but the Huskers haven't been tested. Underwood wil throw for around 250, to give him around 300 total yards.
