Another high school recruiting win

May is relentless on the recruiting trail. There's no other way to describe him and frankly, you can use the same for every other aspect of his program.

Beating Cleveland State 101-53 earlier this week was impressive but maybe we shouldn't be surprised. This man clearly knows what he's doing.

And despite all the transfer portal additions this offseason, May said he wants to make his living on high school recruiting. If he keeps finding plays like Cason, I'm all for it.

The ideal world for Michigan basketball is getting top-100 freshmen who have the ability to contribute for 2-3 years before leaving for the NBA. McKenney is the second top-100 commit in the class.

You don't necessarily want one-and-done prospects. McKenney could be that but he's also a true combo guard who can score. He's got all the tools to be a first-round pick but if he stays for 2-3 seasons, that's how you make Final Fours and win national titles.
