Trey Donaldson is a star

Goldin and Wolf dominate the conversation for good reason. They both have a chance to be Big Ten Player of the Year or at least First-Team All-Big Ten.

Yet, another player who needs more credit is point guard Trey Donaldson. We talked about his 3-point shooting earlier but Donaldson made two key 3-pointers in the second half to help Michigan basketball pull away. Nimari Burnett too.

In four Big Ten games, Donaldson has averaged three 3-point field goals per game. He's scoring 13.1 points per game and dishing out 4.1 assists. He's shooting 52 percent on 2-point attempts and has been a positive on the defensive end too. He's a do-it-all point guard -- the kind you need to win in March.

Turnovers are the one complaint about this team, but the offense has been spectacular and Donaldson is a big reason why.
