2. Jimmy Rolder shined in the wake of Cole Sullivan's injury

10 tackles, one sack, two fourth-down stops, and a fumble recovery for Rolder, who was all over the field on Saturday night. He was the only Wolverine defender who scored over an 80-plus rating with PFF and topped the charts for everyone who was graded based on their performances in East Lansing.

Rolder has put together his two best games in a row now. 18 total tackles is the most by any Wolverine over that span. His teammate, Derrick Moore, was credited with two sacks and now has registered a career-high in that category this year.

Sullivan exited the field during the action and returned to the sidelines with a sling wrapped around his arm. There has been no update regarding his status for the remainder of the schedule. Coach Moore will almost certainly be asked about it in his Monday press conference unless reporters are told otherwise not to ask about him.

Troy Bowles entered the contest and appears to be the next man in the rotation with Sullivan out. Trey Pierce also exited, but it didn't appear to be as significant as Sullivan's diagnosis.
