It's been 30 years since Michigan's Rose Bowl national championship win in Pasadena and the Wolverines are still feeling the effects of that fateful day.
Charles Woodson's son is making his father proud by continuing his career where his dad laid the foundation. Three other teenagers, whose fathers played with Heisman/Hall of Fame players, will announce their college intentions in the near future and are also eyeing Michigan football to further their football journeys.
3 legacy recruits who could choose Michigan Football in the future
Marquis Ray
Class of 2028 athlete Marquis Ray has not received an offer from the coaching staff yet, but you can bet your bottom dollar that his father, Marcus, will be in their ear soon enough to land the prestigious letter. It would be a delight to see Woodson and Ray's sons in the same backfield like they were three decades ago. Ray has already visited Ann Arbor, but is being recruited hard by Kentucky.
Case Campbell
Another member of that 1997 championship starting core was tight end Mark Campbell. His son, Case, is a part of the 2029 class, and the quarterback has already been offered a scholarship from the Wolverines. In Campbell's first varsity start, he shattered the record for most touchdown passes in one half with six of them.
By the time he is a senior, Campbell is primed to be one of the most sought-after prospects in the country.
Kinzy Shea
Not to far behind them is another quarterback whose father starred on that same historic team. Kinzy Shea is the son of Aaron Shea who is already peaking the interest of some power four schools in the 2030 graduating class. He's 6'3'' and has been to Michigan for numerous visits. He is slated to play his high school ball for Walsh Jesuit in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
