Michigan's running game

It feels like the quarterback position might end up being a push in this matchup. Underwood is a generational talent, but it's also his first road start.

I wouldn't be surprised if he were nearly flawless again or had some struggles. Mateer should have some struggles, too. I don't believe we see the same game plan from Wink Martindale as we did last week.

Both teams have exceptional kickers who can be trusted beyond 50 yards. So the one big difference for Michigan could be its running game. The Wolverines rushed for 201 yards last week, at 6.3 yards per attempt.

Justice Haynes looked like a former five-star recruit. The offensive line was much better than last season. That was especially true on the ground. The touchdown run on the first drive of the game was a work of art.

Haynes was barely touched, but he also made a great read, then showed great vision to bounce outside, before using his speed to finish off the 56-yard touchdown run. It's fair to ask if the offensive line can perform in a similar fashion as it did last week.

It will be a bigger challenge but if Michigan can run the ball successfully, you have to like the Wolverines chances of winning the game.
