Jack Tuttle can actually throw the ball

Things just didn't look good with Alex Orji under center. The coaching staff also didn't do him any favors and had no idea how to use his athleticism to leverage the defense.

However, Tuttle is a quarterback Kirk Campbell, the offensive coordinator, is much more familiar with. Tuttle showed he could add a little bit to the zone read game, but he also threw a strike down the field to Amorion Walker and a touchdown pass to Colston Loveland.

The decision-making wasn't great. But Tuttle hasn't played in a long time and hasn't been a regular starter for a Big Ten team, ever. Yet, the Wolverines are the more talented team -- on both sides of the ball. They should win this game. They just need the quarterback not to lose it and Tuttle is that guy.

At least I hope he is. We need the guy who led three scoring drives against Washington, not the one who turned it over twice down the stretch.
