2. The coaches should have called some pass plays for Jadyn Davis
This is another statement that I agree with, but I'll try to make the debate against it. Davis relieved Bryce Underwood when the game was well in hand and didn't need to do anything except be a handoff merchant. As much as I would have loved to see Davis air it out, there was no reason to add insult to injury for the Chippewas. That makes this a debatable overreaction.
Davis played 16 snaps and that could hurt his confidence knowing that the coaches don't want him to pass it. However his throwing mechanics, that were on display in viral offseason videos and the argument of many, are probably the reason why the staff doesn't want to risk it. Without being at practice everyday like they are, it's hard for fans to comprehend that.
Mikey Keene is still not healthy enough to demand time; otherwise, I fully believe that he would be trusted to throw the ball in certain circumstances. He was dressed on Saturday, but we'll have to wait for his Michigan football debut a little longer.
