2. Brandyn Hillman's taunting was harmless
Hillman had a tough day at the office. He was caught on camera making a catch motion towards the Nebraska sidelines that cost his defense a first down for the offense, instead of a Cornhusker punt. The drive landed Nebraska three points.
Later in the contest he was called for targeting, but since the pass catcher established himself as a runner, the foul was overturned and Hillman remained eligible for the game. He was not on the field for the hail mary touchdown and was steps behind Jacory Barney on his first score of the ballgame.
Hillman's violent recklessness will cause him to miss some time eventually, but this is an overreaction because it was going to be fourth and long. Nebraska got bailed out by Hillman, who should have learned his lesson when he was doing it earlier in the game, along with Jyaire Hill.
His teammate Rod Moore made his long-awaited debut on Saturday, that was over 600 days in the making. On Moore's first snap, Michigan's defense created a turnover with the Cole Sullivan interception. That's a sign from above for all the hard work that Moore put in to get back on the field.
