What if trades were allowed to take place in college? I know, it would create even more chaos than there already is. Let's spitball for a minute though and say the NCAA gave permission for schools to trade its student athletes like the NFL does. Michigan football would be a popular place to deal with. They certainly have the talent to send away, but what could they get in return?

3 Myles Garrett type of trades that would shake up college football

QB Bryce Underwood for QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele of California

Swapping sophomore quarterbacks from coast-to-coast would be a consideration. Underwood underachieved in his first season starting in college, while Keawe Sagapolutele overachieved. The Cal product is a better passer than runner, but registered more touchdowns and passing yards than Underwood did. Pro Football Focus recognized him as the one true freshman who threw for the third most big time throws since 2014.

Keawe Sagapolutele finished his freshman campaign with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. The Golden Bears were 2-2 in those four games, while Michigan's prized gem threw seven interceptions in the last five outings alone. With better weapons around him, Keawe Sagapolutele would presumably flourish, while the expectations for Underwood would be less hectic at Cal.

Savion Hiter for Caleb Hawkins of Oklahoma State

As a senior in high school Hiter scored 25 rushing touchdowns. Hawkins was first in the NCAA with 25 at North Texas, including four through the air. Hawkins was a three-star player coming out of high school, but he put up five-star numbers at North Texas. Then imagine if there were draft picks to exchange, Oklahoma State would have to send a couple back to Michigan to make the trade more even. Since it's college, sending a recruit or two to balance things out would be agreeable, too.

John Henry Daley for Anthony Smith of Minnesota

Finding a guy who had more sacks than Henry Daley is hard to locate, but Smith did just that in the Big Ten already. Smith had a sack in every game, except three. Instead of transferring to a bigger opportunity, Smith remained loyal to Minnesota. Plus Smith is bigger than Henry Daley and has more sacks over the course of his college career. Both of them will be fighting for first team All-Big Ten honors.
