Derrick Moore

One of the most disappointing players for Michigan football so far this season has been Derrick Moore. The former top-100 recruit surpassed a chance for the NFL draft to return, but hasn't quite lived up to expectations.

Moore is a dude with first-round ability. He's been inconsistent at times, though. Against Alabama, in the bowl game, he played like a first-round pick. That's who I expected Moore to be this season.

Whether it's because of the injury that caused him to be questionable, or just a poor start, Moore has four tackles, zero sacks, and zero tackles for loss in two games.

It doesn't feel like he's getting much pressure either, at least it didn't on Saturday night. TJ Guy also doesn't have a sack. Sherrone Moore said they were part of one of the best EDGE groups in college football before the season. It's time for them to live up to that hype, just like Crippen needs to do at center.
