Get the ball inside

A low-post scoring presence has been missing from the offense and that's because center Vlad Goldin has struggled so far in 2024-25. Goldin is averaging two turnovers per game which is the name number of field goals he's averaging.

So far, Goldin is averaging just three shot attempts per game. That's simply not enough. Turnovers have caused some problems, but TCU isn't particularly stout when it comes to 2-point defense and has allowed opponents to shoot 50.6 percent.

Considering the competition, that's even more damning. TCU does have two 6-foot-11 bigs, but Goldin should have the advantage and if he's able to get going, U-M could pull away.
