Make Wisconsin one-dimensional

Billy Edwards might be able to play for the Badgers. The former Maryland transfer brings something with his legs and is more talented than Danny O'Neil, who has five touchdown passes and five interceptions this season for Wisconsin.

When Fickell became the head coach, Wisconsin changed to a spread offense under Phil Longo. That was a disaster. The Badgers are now trying to go back to more of a run-based offense, which hasn't worked either.

The Badgers are averaging just 3.1 yards per attempt. Starting running back Dilin Jones is averaging 4.4 yards on 35 attempts. Darrion Dupree is also getting 4.1 yards per attempt. Michigan has been stout against the run. Only Oklahoma, with John Mateer running the ball, did any damage against Michigan football on the ground, and as long as that continues, it should be tough for Wisconsin to move the ball, let alone score.
