DT Joey Slackman

Michigan might have the best defensive line in college football this season, but like we said, the Wolverines will be on the lookout for more depth, and a possible starter to replace Kris Jenkins.

To be honest, Rayshaun Benny is well-suited to play more. Benny, Kenneth Grant, and Mason Graham still give Michigan football the best defensive line on the interior in the Big Ten, at least in my opinion next season.

Imagine adding Walter Nolen or someone else to the mix. We know the Wolverines are interested in a defensive tackle because they have already offered Joey Slackman, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive lineman out of Penn.

The Wolverines aren’t the only program to offer Slackman. In fact, a bunch of Power-5 programs have already offered the FCS stud who had 12 tackles for loss and four sacks last season in the Ivy League.

For one, since he’s a graduate transfer, Michigan wouldn’t have to worry about admissions. The Wolverines also have the ideal role for someone who would be a plug-and-play transfer.
