The Don breaks a long touchdown run

Donovan Edwards has been looking better and better after a slow start to the season. He had his best game against Penn State and was close to breaking off some big runs against Ohio State.

You have to give the Buckeyes credit, they played well defensively. Ohio State didn’t allow a play longer than 22 yards. Michigan still scored 30 points and executed when it mattered, but Ohio State didn’t make it easy, and some of that was based on sheer talent.

Iowa is a solid team. but they don’t have the athletes or the defensive front that Ohio State does. Iowa ranked 11th in the Big Ten in sacks during the season and while their run defense is solid, I have a feeling Edwards will rip off one of those 50-yard runs we have been waiting for.

It’s just a feeling I have. I want to see the offense test the perimeter and with Trente Jones playing right tackle, the run blocking might be even better. And Edwards doesn’t need much room to break off a long run.

Call me crazy, but I think we finally see it happen on Saturday.
