Michigan Football vs. Ohio State Preview and Prediction
Prediction
This game is going to be lower-scoring than the past two seasons. It’s going to be a close game, with both teams having plenty of chances to win. Marvin Harrison Jr is going to score a touchdown, but the Buckeyes are going to ask him to do too much.
When the Buckeye offense is struggling, they go to MHJ. Without fail. Kyle McCord is going to force the ball to Harrison one too many times, and Rod Moore is going to come away with a huge interception. That won’t be the only Buckeye turnover, as the defensive line is going to force a fumble by McCord.
Michigan’s offense is going to struggle to start the game. The Buckeye defense is going to sell out on the run and get some stops, but as Sherrone Moore gets comfortable things are going to shift. JJ McCarthy is going to make some Heisman-caliber plays, but the star of the show is going to be Blake Corum.
It’s Corum’s first time coming into this game fully healthy, and it’s also going to be his birthday. Corum came back to be a Michigan legend. This is the game where he cements that status. Stat predictions for The Game? Blake Corum has 150+ rushing yards, JJ McCarthy accounts for two touchdowns, and Marvin Harrison Jr is held under 100 yards.
Ohio State gets a late score, but it’s not enough. Go Blue, Beat Ohio!
