Big-Game Don

Michigan football fans will never forget what Donovan Edwards did against Ohio State during “The Game” in 2022. The two long touchdown runs broke the back of the Buckeyes and delivered the Wolverines’ first win in Columbus in 22 years.

Edwards has struggled to find his footing this season. But against Penn State, Big-Game Don showed up and scored a 22-yard touchdown on a third-and-11. It was his second run of more than 20 yards in the win over Penn State.

While the production was huge last week, Edwards has looked more like himself over the past two weeks. Against Ohio State, it feels like he’s going to be an X-Factor. Not only does Michigan need him to break a big play or two on the ground, but he could be a huge weapon as a receiver.

Michigan has played things close to the vest but this would be a great time to unleash Edwards, who is a matchup nightmare in the passing game.
