2. Scoring late on Michigan State will come back to haunt Michigan football

Alex Orji piled on Sparty with a last-second touchdown to add more insult to the dominating victory. That usually doesn’t sit well with the opposing team and it definitely won’t in this war. Michigan State couldn’t stop it and surprisingly didn’t respond to the harsh statement made by Michigan’s offense.

Things could have gotten chippy like last year, but thankfully they didn’t. Some credit has to go to Harlon Barnett for not letting that incident happen again. Michigan football took their jabs at Little Brother, but nothing serious. All those things make this an overreaction. The Spartans can do nothing about it now and must move on from this beatdown.

Depending upon who Michigan State hires as its next head coach will decipher how quickly they can seek national relevance again. It’s gonna take some time, but a quick fix is doable these days with things like the transfer portal. However as long as Jim Harbaugh is on the sidelines, then the Wolverines should continue to control this heated competition.
