Mason Graham is a man among boys

Speaking of sophomores, it’s not often that a defensive tackle leads your team in tackles, especially when that defensive tackle is playing with a club on his hand due to an injury.

But Mason Graham, in his first game back for Michigan football, was utterly unblockable last night for the Wolverines, accounting for six tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack.

Graham has four tackles for loss on the season and now 1.5 sacks, but that doesn’t do his impact justice. Even against double teams, Graham is constantly winning. His pass-rush skills continue to improve and this dude is going to be a first-round pick.

Graham, like Johnson, could play in the NFL next season if he was draft-eligible. Instead, he’ll have to wait but man, the 2022 recruiting class is looking elite, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
