BIG bet on Michigan to win National Championship is in

College football has as many questions at the top as we’ve seen in recent memory. While Georgia is the two-time defending National Champions and the favorite to make it three in a row, the team is far from the powerhouse we’ve come to know.

Meanwhile, Michigan returns a ton of key contributors and has steam rolled through non conference play, looking the part of a College Football Playoff contender for the third straight season. Michigan may have as high of a floor as any team in the country, which is attracting big bets on the Wolverines to win it all in 2023.

This bet was placed more than two weeks ago, forecasting a big move on the Wolverines as the likes of Alabama have dropped a game already and Georgia has been put to the test in its SEC opener. Now, the Wolverines are the clear second choice in the market, +400 at consensus sportsbooks.

Michigan took care of business against Rutgers on Saturday, 31-7, jumpstarting the teams quest for a third straight Big Ten title, and likely CFP appearance as well. The team will play its first true road game of the season at Nebraska in Week 5.

Given that Georgia is as weak as ever, and that there may not be a true third team that can keep up, is it all lining up for the Wolverines to breakthrough under Jim Harbaugh?
