3 overreactions from Michigan football’s win over Bowling Green

2. The new lights were annoying and distracting

From most of the accounts that I researched after the win, the LED lights were a hit. That makes this one an overreaction for sure. They lit up the skyline in Ann Arbor and made the fan experience much more delightful. Just think back to 2021 when they were in Nebraska and how much they got amped for that atmosphere that night.

Kris Jenkins was another guy who spoke glaringly about the lights. He said “That was absolutely insane. They got us hyped, every time they turned the lights off, it was goosebumps.” Even Bowling Green coach Scott Loeffler thought, “It was pretty cool and it’s a great environment.:

That wasn’t the only thing that Michigan football upgraded around the facilities. There were the new scoreboards, a new audio system inside the stadium, and upgrades for production rooms.

There was no word on whether they installed a better Wi-Fi system though. That’s been a problem for what seems like the inception of the internet.
