Blake will be Blake

I know I’ll be watching Blake Corum closely and surely won’t be alone. He’ll be playing for the first time since last November.

Jim Harbaugh has said that Corum looks even better and even Blake has said that he’s taken his game to another level this season.

As far as what that actually looks like, we’ll find out on Saturday. Corum has had enough time to heal his injury and he’s looking to have a big season, not only to help Michigan football win a national title but to impress NFL scouts too.

East Carolina ranked 18th last season in run defense. But the Pirates didn’t see a run game like Michigan’s or an offensive line like the Wolverines, which should still be one of the best in the country this season.

Michigan football also ran the ball well against really good defenses last season and my prediction is that Corum is going to look like Blake Corum on Saturday. He’ll have a big day and will hit 100 yards if he’s in the game long enough.
