Highlights from Bryce Underwood and other Michigan football recruits
Check out some highlights from Michigan football recruits this past weekend and a game-winning touchdown from Bryce Underwood.
It’s no secret who the top target is for Michigan football recruiting in the 2025 class — five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood.
Underwood is the top-ranked quarterback in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He’s also from Bellville, Michigan.
Michigan football is hoping to avoid a repeat of the CJ Carr and Dante Moore recruitments. The Wolverines still landed Jadyn Davis, a top-100 quarterback in the 2024 class, so they are solid at the position, but Underwood is a must-land recruit and the staff knows it.
Last night was a reminder of why.
With his team trailing with less than a minute to go, Underwood threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to give his team the lead and the win. It was the kind of thing elite quarterbacks do and should make Michigan football fans want him to be a Wolverine even more.
Underwood wasn’t the only Michigan football recruit to have a standout performance. In fact, a 2024 commitment of the Wolverines — Jordan Marshall — ripped off a 75-yard touchdown run.

That’s a good reason why the Ohio running back is ranked No. 31 overall according to the On3.com rankings for the 2024 class. Speaking of elite 2024 commitments, Andrew Sprague is one of the best offensive tackles in the 2024 class and here he is dishing out a pancake block.

Another Michigan football commitment that turned heads is Chris Ewald. His team played today (on Saturday) in a game on ESPN.
Michigan fans probably didn’t want to watch because, at the half, Zaquan Patterson announced his commitment to Miami, but Edwald, a 2025 four-star cornerback commitment picked up the mood with his highlight-reel interception.

The key for the Wolverines is making sure they can hold Ewald’s commitment until national signing day in 2025, which is a long way away and this dude is legit, so other programs are going to keep calling.
It’s hard to blame them.
