Michigan football is hoping for a commitment from Aaron Scott on Sunday, plus more Michigan Wolverines news.

In just a few hours, we’ll find out the decision of four-star cornerback Aaron Scott. The Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes have been battling for his commitment.

Scott has a top three that includes Michigan football, Ohio State, and Oregon. However, most believe this is a two-team race between the Buckeyes and Wolverines.

Just this week, Scott said that he was still “confused” about where he was going to go. All of the recruiting experts are favoring Ohio State right now and that’s the safe bet.

All of the crystal ball projections favor the Buckeyes, as does the On3 prediction machine. Michigan football has done a great job in this recruitment and even Charles Woodson got involved on social media.

It might not be enough to pull it out. But it was enough to give Scott something to think about. The Wolverines could really use the No. 52 overall recruit in the 2024 class and we’ll find out about 12 EST according to 247 Sports if they are able to shock Ohio State.

Update: Scott is announcing at 6:30 PM EST.

Is Bryce Underwood going to be at the BBQ?

Bryce Underwood posted that he was visiting LSU on Friday night for their weekend event. That led many to believe that he would not visit Michigan football for its recruiting BBQ.

However, that’s not the case. As of right now, Underwood is still expected. He’s still listed as a visitor via On3.com for this weekend, and Zach Libby of The Wolverine also broke down the quarterback recruits visiting for the BBQ and had Underwood on his list.

It doesn’t seem 100 percent certain that Underwood will make it for the BBQ, especially since he’ll need to travel back to Michigan, but that seems like the plan for now.

The good news is that by the end of the day, we can stop debating if Underwood is going to attend the BBQ — we’ll know.

But I haven’t seen any reporting to suggest he’s not coming. At least not yet.
