Michigan Football target Bennett Warren trending hard to Tennessee
Bennett Warren is set to announce his commitment on Monday, but things aren’t looking great for Michigan football according to recent trends.
Tennessee has become a growing factor in the recruitment of four-star offensive tackle Bennett Warren and it looks like the Vols will end up beating out Michigan football and others for his commitment.
This is according to some recent trends of crystal balls and expert projections. Warren announced recently that he would make his commitment Public on July 31. Michigan football was among the finalists along with Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.
Following an official visit to Michigan football on the weekend of June 9th, the Wolverines started trending with crystal ball predictions.
However, things shifted when Warren visited Tennessee. We all know the Vols are pretty good in the NIL area too and it’s hard to win blue-chip commitments without that in your back pocket.
Michigan football is getting much better in terms of NIL. But the Wolverines are still very limited with what they can sell to high school recruits.
Who knows if that could be a factor here, but it’s played a role in plenty of other recruitments. Warren is out of Sugar Land, Texas and the 6-foot-8, 330-pound offensive tackle is one of the top players at his position in the 2024 class.
Bennett is ranked eighth among tackles in the 2024 class via the 247 Sports composite rankings. However, Tennessee has gotten a couple of new crystal ball predictions from Michigan experts Sam Webb and Brice Marich.
The Vols have also gotten some expert projections from On3.com and now have a better than 80 percent chance of getting the commitment of Warren on Monday.
Nothing is 100 percent until announced, but it doesn’t look good for the Wolverines. The only good news is that the offensive line haul for 2024 is already impressive, so it’s not a huge blow outside of the fact that Warren is a really quality tackle.
