Michigan football all-time Lloyd Carr team, Wide receivers: Braylon Edwards, David Terrell,  and Jason Avant

One thing forgotten about the Lloyd Carr era is all of the talent at wide receiver. Looking at all of the skill positions, Michigan football was loaded back in the day.

It’s starting to get back to being that way under Jim Harbaugh. However, the Carr era featured some all-time greats for Michigan football at wide receiver.

Braylon Edwards was incredible. His numbers were astounding, as were his clutch performances against Ohio State and Michigan State. The comeback game against MSU will always be legendary and he flat-out dominated the Buckeyes throughout his career.

David Terrell had over 2,000 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns in three seasons for the Wolverines, including a monster three-touchdown game in the Orange Bowl win in 2000.

Avant is another guy that ranks top 10 among all-time Michigan receiving leaders and that makes his selection to the all-time Lloyd Carr team a no-brainer.
