4-star Aaron Scott

This is possibly the biggest recruitment remaining for Michigan football. Stealing Aaron Scott from Ohio would be a huge win for Michigan and a drastic loss for Ohio State. And with this recruitment, I just can’t shake this good feeling I have.

If you’re on social media, you’ve seen all the love Scott has been getting. After posting pictures from his Ohio State visit, the comments were flooded with Michigan players and fans vouching for the Wolverines. What was even more notable, is that Charles Woodson even joined in, saying Go Blue and posting a photo of Scott in Michigan gear.

The staff has told Scott that he could compete for a starting job as a freshman next to Will Johnson. It’s clear that Scott is deeply considering this decision. I really like where the Wolverines sit in this recruitment.

With that said, he is an Ohio kid and he just visited Ohio State. I’m sure that many of the people around Scott are telling him to stay home, and you never know how that can impact a kid. Just look at the Zach Harrison recruitment in 2019. If it wasn’t for the people close to him telling him to choose Ohio State, Harrison more than likely would have been a Wolverine.

A decision from Scott could come as early as within a week. July 4th is a day that’s been floating around, but there hasn’t been solid confirmation on that. Regardless, it appears we’re nearing an initial decision from Scott.

Michigan football has done just about everything it can in this recruitment, so now we just hope for the best.
