With lots of recent recruiting developments, recruiting predictions have changed

As we enter the end of June, we have a solid idea of who may or may not end up in the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class. Lots of things have changed since I made my last predictions in April. Some have been good developments, others bad. With that being said, let’s look at the predictions.

QB: Jadyn Davis (Committed)

No surprises here. Davis is rock solid to the Wolverines and is the centerpiece of this class. Davis recently had a good showing at the Elite 11 Finals, including a dominant 7 on 7 portion. Davis will continue to be a lead recruiter for the 2024 class.

RB: Jordan Marshall (Committed), Micah Kaapana (Committed)

The first major change from the first round of predictions, Micah Kaapana takes Taylor Tatum’s place. Kaapana committed on June 17th, and Taylor Tatum to USC seems like a done deal.

Yes, it is disappointing to miss on a running back like Tatum after having so much momentum, but Michigan football walks away with an excellent haul. Everybody knows how good Jordan Marshall is, but Kaapana could be one of the most underrated running backs in the nation.

Kaapana rushed for 1,001 yards on only 70 carries this last season. The only thing holding back his ranking is playing in Nevada. I trust Mike Hart’s evaluation, and Kaapana could be a name we hear a lot of in the future.
