4 Star S Jordon Johsnon-Rubell

Johnson-Rubell, out of IMG Academy in Florida, has been a top target for the Wolverines for some time. Recently, the Wolverines have increased their efforts with the elite recruit, and their efforts have paid off so far.

Originally, Michigan was set to be left off of Johnson-Rubell’s top five. Once the staff heard, however, they put the full-court press on and were rewarded with an official visit. Other teams in the top five include TCU, Ohio State, Texas, and USC. Texas is the favorite, with a crystal ball in their favor.

Jay Harbaugh has done a wonderful job keeping Michigan football in this recruitment. At this point, the Wolverines are a dark horse. Following his visit to Michigan, Johsnon-Rubell will go to Ohio State (June 16th) and Texas (June 23rd).

The Longhorns receiving the final visit is a bad sign for the Wolverines, but anything is possible. While all signs currently point towards a Texas commitment, I wouldn’t put anything past Jay Harbaugh and Steve Clinkscale. Keep an eye on this one, as the Wolverines will have a great chance to move the needle.
