4-star CB Bryce West

Momentum with one of the nation’s best cornerbacks has essentially halted over the past month. Ohio State has regained control of this recruitment, and the Wolverines have a significant amount of ground to regain if they want to seriously compete for West.

Glenville, West’s high school, is a notorious Buckeye school, with very few exceptions historically. However, Steve Clinkscale has continued to put in work in the state of Ohio, and the Wolverines are not out of this one just yet.

While the Buckeyes will get an official visit following the Wolverines, Michigan football will be giving it everything they’ve got. Close friend Jacob Oden will also be visiting over the weekend, and he has continuously recruited West over social media. You can bet he’ll have his recruiting hat on this weekend.

Michigan definitely does have a shot with West, but they’ll need to do everything right this weekend to keep him from committing to the Buckeyes. The longer this recruitment goes, the better.
