10. Rutgers

Cliff Omoruyi has decided to go back to Piscataway and Steve Pikiell has got to be considered as one of the most underrated coaches in the country. Cam Spencer transferred out late in the process, however. Still waiting on Paul Mulcahy’s decision. Rutgers could move up if Mulcahy stays.

9. Northwestern

The Wildcats are coming off a banner year, but are likely to take a step behind. Only three games separated second place from 12th place in the standings and with only Boo Buie as their main guy, Northwestern is destined to certainly flip the script in 2024. Although Buie was a first-team selection.

8. Iowa

Kris Murray is joining his brother at the next level. The Hawkeyes will now turn to Tony Perkins, who flashed signs throughout the schedule and he’ll probably be their number one moving forward.

7. Maryland

Jahmir Young, Donta Scott, and Julian Reese form a deadly trio to match up with for foes on a nightly basis. Kevin Willard has a strong recruiting class coming in as well.

6. Ohio State

The Buckeyes boast one of the nation’s top recruiting classes. They closed with a swell Big Ten tournament run and are trying to capitalize on a high note after a forgetful regular season. Jamison Battle comes over from Minnesota to join all Big Ten type of player in Bruce Thornton.
