5 candidates to be Michigan Football’s next 2024 commitment
Jeremiah Beasley (No. 321 overall)
We know that Jeremiah Beasley is expected to make a decision at the end of June and all of the crystal ball projections are favoring Michigan football at this time.
Frankly, it would be a surprise if the four-star linebacker didn’t wind up as a Wolverine. Chris Partridge has done a spectacular job and Michigan football has totally flipped the recruitment around after Beasley was once seen as a Michigan State lean.
In terms of being the next commitment, Beasley might not have a great chance because I’m guessing the Wolverines land another verbal commitment or two before the end of June. Yet, you never know and Beasley is still worth a mention and should be on board soon as his June 16th visit.
Aaron Chiles (No. 73 overall)
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound recruit is one of the top targets overall on the board for Michigan football. Chiles is an elite linebacker and is ranked 73rd overall in the 2024 rankings according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Michigan football has made the top three which also includes Maryland and Florida. All of the predictions are favoring Michigan. Chiles will visit on June 23rd and that would be a great time to lock up the dynamic linebacker.
Chiles had 15 TFL and 10 sacks last season. He’s got an NFL future and reminds me of Junior Colson. Partridge has done work in this recruitment too and it seems like June could be the month when the elite linebacker makes a commitment announcement.
On that note, regardless of the order, I feel confident about all five of these 2024 recruits committing to Michigan football in the month of June or soon after.
