Trusting the staff
Some Michigan football fans rolled their eyes when the Wolverines took the early 2024 commitment of three-star defensive lineman Manuel Beigel, now some of those same fans are worried about a flip and they should be.
Not because Beigel is wavering in his commitment. There have been no signs of that. But Texas A&M was the latest to offer the 6-foot-5, 282-pounder which came on the heels of offers by Georgia and Penn State just last month.
After a great conversation with @LouieAddazio I am honored to announce that I have received an offer from @AggieFootball @PPIRecruits @coach_spinnato @BCollierPPI pic.twitter.com/axKzmQHtWF

It should be noted that Michigan offered in June of 2022. That’s why they got the commitment of Beigel and my expectation is they will keep it.
But it does show that this coaching staff has a really good eye for talent, so when they take lower-ranked recruits, we should give the rankings a chance to catch up, because the staff, more often than not, has a better idea than 247, On3, Rivals or whomever.
Don’t forget that.
