5. Tom Mack, offensive line

Former offensive lineman Tom Mack is another Michigan football player that earned his way into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

One of his great traits was consistency, just like Mike Kenn. He didn’t start quite as many games as Kenn but he still had 176 starts under his belt and 184 career games.

Beyond that, Mack spent 13 seasons as a starter and got selected to the Pro Bowl 11 times. The Pro Bowl has become watered down now, but things were different then. It still felt like a real all-star game and players didn’t opt out of it.

Mack never got the First-Team All-Pro honors, which he probably deserved. However, he was Second-Team All-Pro on three occasions and has been in the Hall of Fame since 1999.

Only Tom Brady has been selected to the Pro Bowl more as a former Michigan football player.
