Best Case Scenario

Jace Howard gives up his scholarship and accepts a walk-on status as the coaches son. Hunter Dickinson miraculously decides to stay and gets a hefty NIL package, plus Michigan basketball brings in two more transfers like Oliver Nkamhoua and another power five starter. Llewellyn accepts coming off the bench behind McDaniel and the guards lead the way to a deep tournament run with Reed and Dickinson dominating the paint.

Other names will enter and exit the portal for the next few months because its a revolving door of chaos. There are plenty of options, but the longer they wait is not a wise thing to do. This is undoubtedly Juwan Howard’s most important offseason yet and so far he needs to hit another home run like he did with Love.

A tandem of Dickinson and Love could be deadly for the opposition. Pairing them rising sophomores McDaniel and Reed should produce a top notch team that has all the pieces to last in the big dance.
