Alex Graham

A Cass Tech (Michigan) kid, Alex Graham is ranked as the #43 player in the country, and the #4 safety overall. He’s visited Michigan football four times in the past year, and the Wolverines are perceived as the overwhelming favorite for Graham. It may just be a short matter of time before he commits.

Cass Tech is a college football feeder program, and they’ve been very generous to Michigan over the years, giving the Wolverines players such as Donovan Peoples-Jones, Michael Onwenu, and Jourdan Lewis. Graham looks to be the next name on that star-studded list.

There isn’t a whole lot to say about Graham’s recruitment. It’s been very quiet thus far, and the Wolverines have been the only consistent player in his recruitment.

While I do expect that his recruitment will heat up significantly over the coming year, I think the Wolverines have built up too much of a lead to lose out on Graham. It really does seem like a matter of when, and not if he commits to the program.

Conclusion

These are just a couple of the highly rated kids that Michigan football is trending in the right direction with currently. It’s far too early to deeply analyze the 2025 class, but there is a real possibility that it could be a historically good class for Michigan. I’m talking about competing for the #1 class in the country good.

While that is obviously the best-case scenario in which everything goes right, the Wolverines are off to an excellent start, and you have to feel good about where they stand. Right now, barring any super major changes, I’d feel comfortable saying it will be a top 10 class in the country.

As the 2024 class continues to be built, keep an eye out for movement in the 2025 class. The staff has done an excellent job of building early relationships with many players, so it is very possible that a handful of recruits give Michigan an early commitment.
