Two four-star targets for Michigan football in the 2024 class are announcing their commitments on Tuesday which is really good news for the Wolverines.

Michigan football has been rolling on the recruiting trail in the 2024 class and it looks like it could be another really good week for the Wolverines.

Brady Prieskorn, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound tight end who is ranked 56th overall in the 2024 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings, will announce his commitment on Tuesday.

It’s a big deal for the Wolverines because Prieskorn is ranked as the second-best player in the state of Michigan for the 2024 class and would be another top-100 addition to the 2024 haul.

As of right now, all of the crystal ball projections have Michigan football winning his commitment. The On3 prediction machine also has the Wolverines as the overwhelming favorite.

Another blue-trip recruit wil decide on Tuesday

It turns out that Prieskorn isn’t the only Michigan football target that will be announcing a commitment on April 25th, as four-star defensive lineman Jerod Smith will do the same.

Smith recently visited Michigan football and included the Wolverines in his top six. A number of expert projections have flooded in for the Wolverines over the past week, so you can sense how this is going to go unless there is a dramatic shift before the announcement.

Smith is ranked 270th overall in the 247 Sports composite rankings for 2024. The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder was viewed as a Notre Dame lean at one time, along with his brother, Jacob Smith, who is a four-star EDGE.

Michigan football made the top list for Jacob Smith too and you wonder if landing Jerod would mean a potential package duo for the Wolverines.

Last but not least, three-star offensive lineman Jake Guarnera is also expected to announce a commitment on April 28th. The Wolverines view him as a center and they are trending as the favorite there too, meaning Michigan could be landing three commitments in the coming days.

Not bad for a recruiting class that already ranks third overall and has 12 pledges, nine of which ranked as four-star recruits or higher (blue chips).
