The Wolverines have the #3 ranked class as of now, but will that momentum continue?

Michigan football is off to a tremendous start on the recruiting trail. Their 2024 class is ranked #3 in the nation, behind only Ohio State and Georgia. Many top targets have already committed to the Wolverines, but there are still a lot remaining on the board.

In this article, I’m going to give a conservative prediction of how I see the 2024 class finishing. By conservative, I mean I’m not going to make many (if any) ultra-bold predictions. So sorry to all the Dylan Stewart or Justin Scott fans, but there isn’t enough for me to make those predictions right now.

There is tons of optimism around the program right now, and many coaches and fans truly believe that this class will be special, myself included. Without further ado, let’s dive into the offense.

Offense

QB: Jadyn Davis (Committed)

I expect Davis to be the only scholarship quarterback in this class. He has the makings of a future superstar, and fans should be extremely excited for him to join the team.

RB: Jordan Marshall (Committed), Taylor Tatum

Marshall was an excellent pull out of Ohio, and he is the definition of a Michigan man. I think Tatum is also a Michigan man, but the question is whether or not he feels comfortable joining a class that already has a top-100 running back.

If Mike Hart continues his strong pursuit of Tatum, he can definitely end up a Wolverine. While I’m not extremely confident, Tatum seems like a Michigan kid, and I think the Wolverines can snag two top-100 running backs.
