3. Vanderbilt is next on the hit list

With the 10-point win in front of their home fans, the maize and blue earn a trip to Nashville on Saturday to battle the Commodores. They eliminated Yale and have won 11 out of the last 13. Jerry Stackhouse’s crew has six wins over NCAA tournament teams after starting the season at 10-12.

Michigan basketball played only one SEC squad this season and lost by four to Kentucky in London. Vandy went 2-1 versus the Wildcats and beat them at Rupp arena on March 1 by two points. This one will decide who really should have gotten the two seed following the mistake by the NIT on late Sunday night.

Without former Minnesota Golden Gopher and leading scorer, Liam Robbins, their guards have been producing in his absence. Tyrin Lawrence, Jordan Wright, and Ezra Manjon to be exact.

Getting Jett Howard back to match the output of these guys will be vital if Michigan wants to extend its season. However we may have seen the last of Howard in a Michigan uniform, but won’t know for sure until Saturday.
