Run the offense through Hunter

Hunter Dickinson needs to set the tone. Toledo isn’t going to be able to match up with Dickinson, so you can bet the Rockets will be doubling frequently or using some type of zone.

The Rockets do average nearly seven steals per game and are in the top 100 of college basketball in terms of forcing opponents into turnovers (13.1 per game). Dickinson has struggled at times with turnovers after teams double, especially if they are really trapping aggressively.

That normally means others need to make shots and that will need to happen tonight. I’d also like to see Dickinson come out firing. Shoot some 3s. Be aggressive with the jump shot. Whatever happens, Dickinson needs to shoot the ball and the offense has to run through him.

Bufkin, Howard, and Dug McDaniel will need to make plays and score on their own too, but Dickinson is the biggest advantage Michigan has, especially in this matchup and it needs to use him effectively.
