The maize and blue surely will not have an eventful selection Sunday this year. They are 100% headed to the NIT, as long as they accept the invite. They’ll have to wait till Sunday night at 10:00 on ESPNU to find out who they will play in the secondary postseason tournament that no one strives for when you start the season.

They’ll likely host a home game or two depending on how their draw plays out. They are looking at a two or three-seed at best. According to dratings.com, Michigan basketball is listed as a two-seed. The NIT begins on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week and will be broadcasted on the ESPN family of networks.
