3. Tarris Reed Jr. is earning a starting job
With Terrance Williams out, Will Tschetter got the nod again. He played badly at first but performed admirably better as the night wore on. The real standout of the night was Tarris Reed Jr. though. He almost recorded a double-double, but his presence in the paint was a major factor in why Michigan walked out victorious.
Have never agreed with the Tschetter stans imploring Juwan to start him over TWill. Honestly, he probably shouldn’t be more than an 8th/9th man

There’s a good case that Tarris Reed should be starting alongside Dickinson.
At minimum he’s a massive upgrade over Will.
He made a couple of and-ones that got Michigan ahead and a block on the defensive side of the ball that finished Michigan State’s chances at a late rally.
Coach Howard has to seriously pontificate whether or not to start him from here on out. He is Dickinson’s backup but has just become too indispensable when both are on the floor at the same time.
