At least be even at the 3-point line

Michigan is going to need its guards to create some shots and get the ball inside to Hunter Dickinson. Yet, the Wolverines also need some make 3-pointers or they won’t win this game.

The first time around, Michigan basketball actually got some solid looks against the Spartans, they just couldn’t knock them down, going 3-for-20 from beyond the arc.

Jett Howard made two and Hunter Dickinson was the only other player to make a perimeter shot for the Wolverines. That won’t cut it on Saturday as Joey Baker, Terrance Williams if he can go, McDaniel, and Bufkin need to connect.

Michigan basketball doesn’t need to make double-digit shots from beyond the arc, but they were outscored by nine by the Spartans last time and that can’t happen again. If it does, it will be a perfect recipe for MSU to steal another win.
