3. Saturday night against Indiana is going to be hysteria

Michigan will now enter the meat of its schedule with plenty of quad-one chances in front of it. A win over Indiana would be gigantic to a bubble team who has to stretch its win streak to four if they wish to remain in contention for March. The Hoosiers have won two in a row over ranked teams and Michigan basketball hasn’t beaten one yet.

Michigan then goes on the road next Tuesday where Juwan Howard will not be welcomed warmly by the Badger contingent. The Badgers are coming off a mammoth win in Happy Valley to also stay on the bubble line for another week. The winner of that matchup will probably be one of the last four teams in with a win depending, of course on what happens over the weekend in their respective outings.

Then they return back home to Crisler to battle the Spartans in an in-state tussle. All three are winnable if Michigan continues to play as they have over this three-game winning streak.

Not to mention what it will do for their March resume if they can pull all three of them out. First things first though as Michigan has a golden opportunity to climb into a spot they probably believed they would never have been in following a miserable home loss to Central Michigan in 2022.
