2. Michigan shot bombs away from triple

14 three-pointers and 54% from deep were the numbers that stood out in the 21-point win. Michigan hasn’t shot that well from three since they won at Minnesota in December. Terrance Williams, Hunter Dickinson, Dug McDaniel, and Jace Howard all hit 100% of the threes they attempted, while Jett Howard and Joey Baker drilled the other nine single-handedly.

Howard and Keisei Tominaga put on a show for the masses as they both combined to make 10 triples for their respective clubs. Tominaga has buried 12 in the last three games and has gone above the double-figure mark in seven of the last eight. Unfortunately for Nebraska they only have two wins during that span.

In the first 20 minutes when Michigan basketball went on that 30-5 run, they nailed five from there. It got Michigan out to a 24-point lead, which turned out to be their largest of the contest. The 93 points are the most that the Wolverines have scored all year, even surpassing the 91 that they put up on Pitt in its integral non-conference win of the season.
