Looking ahead to the 2023 Senior Bowl, here’s a look at which Michigan football players will be representing the Michigan Wolverines in Mobile.

Fans of the Michigan Wolverines are no doubt looking ahead to the 2023 Michigan football season. It’s expected to be one of the best rosters in recent memory, as long as Jim Harbaugh stops flirting with the NFL and comes back to be the head coach.

That was sort of in jest. New rumors popped up about Harbaugh over the weekend. It was reported that Harbaugh met with the Denver Broncos after his announcement that he was returning for the 2023 season, yet no deal materialized and I don’t believe it will.

Still, the saga won’t seem to end.

But Michigan football fans can enjoy watching some of their favorite players over the weekend at the 2023 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama as three Michigan Wolverines are on the roster.

Which Michigan Wolverines are playing in the Senior Bowl?

The 2023 NFL draft should have a number of Michigan football players selected, which has been the norm under Jim Harbaugh and three of those Michigan Wolverines will be in Alabama this week for the Senior Bowl.

One of those players is wide receiver Ronnie Bell, who bounced back with a solid 2022 season after missing basically the entire 2021 season due to a knee injury. Bell was outstanding in the Fiesta Bowl.

Bell posted career-highs in receptions (62) and yards (889). He also caught four touchdowns for Michigan football in 2022 and averaged 14.3 yards per reception.

Beyond that, Bell has shown the ability to return punts in his career and I fully expect him to get drafted and boost his stock this week.

Michigan football will also have two of the offensive linemen that helped the Wolverines win the Joe Moore Award down in Mobile for the 2023 Senior Bowl in left tackle Ryan Hayes and starting center Olu Oluwatimi — the 2022 Outland Award Winner.

Oluwatimi transferred to Michigan football from Virginia prior to the 2022 season and he proved to be the best center in the country. Both Oluwatimi and Hayes should be day-two draft picks at the absolute worst, but each could boost their stock this week.
