9 candidates if Michigan Football needs to replace Matt Weiss

Former Stanford head coach David Shaw
The former head coach of the Stanford Cardinal, Shaw was Jim Harbaugh’s offensive coordinator out West for four seasons and now finds himself looking for something new.
Shaw had been Stanford’s head coach for twelve seasons before resigning this offseason, he originally replaced Jim Harbaugh after Harbaugh left to become the San Francisco 49ers head coach.
Shaw is largely a wide receivers coach by trade, coaching the position in addition to his OC duties under Harbaugh at Stanford, but has spent time as a quarterbacks coach, namely as the Oakland Raiders’ QB coach in 2001.
Ironically enough, after Shaw left that position to join the Ravens, he was replaced by none other than Jim Harbaugh himself.
