3. Shoot the ball well

This seems pretty simple but the Wolverines are going to have to knock down some of their open looks. Dickinson will create some because he’s a great passer out of double teams and the Wolverines should also get some looks out of their ball-screen looks.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Michigan State went under a lot of screens and forced guys like Dug McDaniel to make plays. Kobe Bufkin has proven recently he can do that. Jett Howard is another guy who can get one-on-one opportunities.

However, this is exactly why Michigan basketball got Joey Baker. He knocked down three triples against Penn State and that was huge. If he hits multiple 3-pointers on Saturday, that will be a really good sign for the Wolverines

Michigan basketball vs Michigan State prediction

This feels like a 50-50 game to me. For the past two seasons, the home team has won going away. Michigan wasn’t very competitive in either game in East Lansing and I don’t see that happening this time around.

Dickinson has been a great Michigan basketball player. Yet, he hasn’t won in East Lansing and I have a feeling he changes that with a big game that leads Michigan to a 75-70 win.
