Have to get better in bowl games

This is a Jim Harbaugh issue. Michigan has lost 6 straight bowl games under Harbaugh. That is inexcusable and is obviously a problem with Harbaugh. He was able to adjust two years ago and turn this program around, and he’s going to have to adjust again.

For the second straight year, Michigan’s Joe Moore award-winning offensive line was pushed around, and the defensive line struggled. Last year was somewhat excusable against a generational Georgia defense and a solid offensive line, but this year, against TCU?! Michigan should have dominated in the trenches, but instead lost in them.

The team looked tired late in the game and was making uncharacteristic mistakes the whole game. I don’t know what it is, but something must change here. Michigan football cannot keep playing badly in its bowl games.

That is Harbaugh’s next mountain to climb. It isn’t a talent issue. Michigan has far more talent, from a recruiting perspective at least than TCU. It’s a coaching issue. It must be addressed for this program to take the next step.

Finally, onto positives.
