Michigan will fall short of the national title

One prediction I also have for Michigan in the College Football Playoff is J.J. McCarthy’s continued rise to stardom. I believe he’s going to play great against TCU and he was the best quarterback on the team last season against Georgia.

Michigan won’t have the deer in the headlights look that it did against the Bulldogs a year ago and as good as this Georgia team is, it is not the 2021 version. That was one of the best college football teams and the best defenses we have ever seen.

That being said, it’s hard for me to predict Michigan to beat Georgia. I certainly think it’s possible and I was wrong about Michigan winning in Columbus. I predicted the Wolverines to go 11-1.

I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong and I hope it happens again during the playoff. Michigan will battle Georgia this time around and it won’t be a cakewalk.

Michigan and Georgia will play a four-quarter game but the Bulldogs are just too talented and Stetson Bennett just seems immune to mistakes. If Michigan can force him into some, it will have a chance, but until it happens, I don’t believe anybody is beating the Bulldogs.
